Picnic
As it’s name it is picnic with family but it is not limited to just own family, it is picnic of all families from our community members of NECPS. Different type of food available at the place of picnic. Meal assign to family to get on day of picnic at decided location. Event starts with games based on different age group. side by side some group of people start making Barbecue chicken. all attendees can start taking their meal and at same time they can also enjoy watching games being in play. As evening starts every attendee start preparing for returning back to home.
Diwali
Diwali is festival of lights. meaning of diwali is rows of lighted lamps. This is five day celebration. 5 days starting with Dhanteras followed by Chaturdasi, Lakshmi Puja, Padwa and Bhai Duj. Every home is lit with diyas, leaving no room for darkness to enter, and doorsteps are decorated (known as rangoli) to welcome guests. Late in evening kids and young people do fireworks at their home. Diwali falls between October and November, but the exact dates change each year.
Navratri
Navratri is festival of ‘nine nights’. It is one of the most popular and widely celebrated Hindu festivals in many parts of India. Festival begin with puja and music. The dance form known as ras garba (also joined sometimes by dandiya, which uses small wooden sticks). People begin to dance in a circle, whirling away till late into the night. It is not uncommon to find dancers with swords or lit flames and other spectacles. The traditional dance steps are simple, though over the years people have been inventing more complex steps. All nine days dedicated for different goddess starting from Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skand Mata, Katyayani, Kalratri, Maha Gauri and Siddhidatri. The tenth day, Dashera, also known as Vijayadashami in South India, is celebrated by doing a puja to bless one’s vehicle, and is also the day to buy new vehicles, if necessary.
